# What is Angie

> An overview of the Angie platform for alumni associations and their members

Angie is a membership platform built for alumni associations. Each association gets its own branded site and admin console, and its members get a portal for dues, events, communication, and more — all under one subdomain, such as `yourassociation.angie-web.test`.

<Tip>
  This guide covers the association admin console and the member portal. It doesn't cover Angie's internal operations console, which only Angie staff use.
