# Signing up your association

> Create an Application for your association and get it approved

Before your association has a live site, you submit an application. Angie's team reviews it, then provisions your site once it's approved.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the signup wizard">
    Go to the Angie marketing site and select **Get started**. You'll land on a 4-step wizard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Association details">
    Enter your association's name, the institution it's connected to, and the city it's based in. You can also suggest a subdomain slug (for example, `cdss` for `cdss.angie-web.test`) — leave it blank and Angie will generate one from your name.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Your admin account">
    Enter the name, email, and phone number of the person who will be the association's first admin. This person receives the approval notice and the login details once your site is live.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Pick a starting plan">
    Enter roughly how many members you expect to start with. The wizard recommends a plan tier based on that number — see [Choosing a plan](/getting-started/choosing-a-plan) for what each tier includes.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review and submit">
    Check everything on the summary screen, accept the terms, and submit. You'll land on a confirmation page with your application reference.
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Note>
  Submitting an application doesn't create your site immediately. Angie's team reviews each one and may ask for more information before approving it.
</Note>

## What happens after you submit

* **Approved** — your association's site is provisioned, and your admin account's login details are emailed to the address you gave in step 3.
* **Needs more info** — you'll be emailed with what's missing and can update your application.
* **Rejected** — you'll be notified by email with the reason.
